so, you want to know about me…

The self-proclaimed geaux-grrrl. in my mind, this is a mix of the punk princess I am at heart, that somehow got trapped in a busty, blonde southern body. I’m an absolute riot, and I’ve kept quiet for years, but no more! I’m lucky enough to have the desire to write so here, in this tiny corner of the internet, I am happy to share my thoughts. And perhaps a photograph and story, or two.

I’m a Louisiana girl, born in Baton Rouge, raised in “central” Louisiana, and finally made it to New Orleans for most of my post-college life. I fell in love and married someone I knew in high school, years after high school, and now we are happily married and living in beautiful, colorful Colorado!

I’m passionate about EXPERIENCE and how to tell stories well. I cherish yoga, each and every limb of it, and occasionally share my practice with others, when I have the opportunity to volunteer. I’ve had every job under the sun in the last 20 years of my life, and I’m finally ready to step into a role that makes me the happiest: writing.

My hope with this site is to share my gift with words, make you laugh, make you think, and connect with you.
